A delegation from the Ministry of Education participated in a religious ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration.
Present was Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. It was filled with a tazkirah or lecture titled 'Menghayati Sunnah Rasulullah'. The delegation was also joined by An-Na'im Mosque Youth Group, Kampung Panchor/Mengkubau and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute.
The Islamic Da'wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Muallaf Development Division (Muallaf Empowerment) and the Temburong District Da'wah Unit also held the dikir maulud with the new converts in Temburong District. The ceremony was held at Kampung Sibut Religious Hall, Temburong District. The delegation was led by Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abd Rahman, Assistant Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre.
